The U12 girls made the short journey to near neighbors Dunboyne earlier today to play the South Division Final. Backed by a large travelling support, and playing on a perfect pitch the two sides contested a game worthy for a final. Nothing separated the team’s at the end of normal time with 0-6 a piece. Extra time saw Dunboyne edge out our girls by the bare minimum, winning in the end by 0-8 to 0-7. Congratulations to our hosts on the win. Despite the disappointment this super group of girls will come back stronger from the experience.
