Nursery Returns Tonight

Our eagerly awaited Nursery returns this Friday 12th April to welcome our class of 2024.

The session will start at 6pm on the Astro Pitch. As this is our first session for 2024 we will be welcoming a number of new boys and girls for their first time. Given there will be a lot of new people we ask that you arrive early and allow some time for parking, checking your child in with one of our co-ordinators and remain close to the Astro for the duration to allow you little ones to settle in.

As a “Healthy Club” we ask that you walk or cycle to the GAA grounds where possible, this will help alleviate the pressure on the car park which is always full for Nursery and will make entrance and egress a little smoother before and after Nursery.

As a club we are continuously striving to upgrade and improve our facilities. Since our last Nursery session in October 2023, the walking track has been completed and fencing upgraded around Pitch 1. The current works you will see at the corner of Pitch 1 near the clubhouse is our “Supporters Wall” which is nearing completion. The Supporters wall, walking track and new fencing is a significant improvement project which were are delighted to see underway and coming to a close and greatly enhances the facilities we have available to us.
However we ask for your patience over the coming weeks and ask that you be mindful of the ongoing improvement works when Nursery is in session.

The weather hasn’t been great, so please ensure everyone has weather appropriate clothing.
