Our Girls have been training hard for the last few weeks and were delighted to be finally getting back to playing a match. A tough away trip to St Colmcilles was first up for our girls and we started the game well with three goals in the first ten minutes which settled our girls. It was up and down the pitch from then on with both teams putting some fabulous plays together to score lovely goals and points. At the end of the first half RG lead by 3 goals, 5-04 to 2-04.
The heat was starting to hit both team as we began the second half and it was nip and tuck again with both teams giving their all. Again there was nothing between the sides with well made scores from both and you couldn’t split the commitment and effort from two super teams in the second half. We finished the game with our nine point cushion which we held at half time. Well done to all involved on very entertaining battle.👏👏
