Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels Golf Classic
On Friday 30th August 2024 Black Bush Golf Club hosted another highly successful Annual Golf Classic.
This year’s Annual Golf Classic was a resounding success. We had 39 teams entered this year, which represented a 15% increase on 2023, while our Tee Box sponsors rose by 47% to 81 tee box sponsors.
We were very fortunate to have AIMS Software return as a main sponsor this year and our thanks go to Don Kingston for his continued support. We also welcomed the support of a second main sponsor this year in the shape of another local company CabinPac Hire. A big thank you to Sean Murphy and Alan Boyce for their support this year.
This year the Golf Classic featured a very novel “Hole in One Challenge” on the 7th hole which generated a lot of excitement. This was kindly sponsored by another local company Rooftop Twenty Two. We are very gracious to Cathal O’Reilly for his support.
While sponsors, teams and tee boxes are the main revenue streams for a successful golf classic, we must also note our thanks to our many prize sponsors. We also note the contribution made to our raffle from all those who attended on the day.
Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels would like to express our sincerest appreciation to all our teams, tee boxes and sponsors for their very generous sponsorship and support of this year’s Annual Golf Classic. Your contribution has significantly impacted the success of this year’s event.
Your financial assistance will help us acquire new equipment, improve our facilities and help us provide more opportunities to aspiring GAA players of all ages across our great community in Dunshaughlin.
Once again, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support. With your continued support, we are confident that our organisation can continue to grow and excel and reach new heights in the years to come, inspiring more players and volunteers to pursue their dreams and ambitions.
Hopefully we can look forward to your support again in 2025.
Our Golf Classic depends on the support of so many local businesses. As Christmas approaches, we would ask when possible, to support local business.
