Gaelic-4-Mothers & Others

Gaelic for Mothers & Others (G4MO) is an LGFA initiative designed to introduce – or reintroduce – women to playing Ladies Gaelic Football in a fun, relaxed and social environment.

Run by Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels, G4MO is non-competitive and all about enjoyment, fitness and friendship. Whether you played football years ago, never kicked a ball before, or are simply looking for a new way to stay active, G4MO offers a welcoming space for women of all abilities.

G4MO provides a great opportunity to get your weekly exercise in while meeting other women from the local area. While the name includes “Mothers”, being a mother is not a requirement. The programme is open to women aged 25+ who are not currently playing competitively with a club team.

Training takes place every Thursday evening from 8pm – 9pm on the Astro Pitch. Sessions focus on light skills, movement and plenty of laughs, all in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

If you’d like to come along and give it a try, new members are always welcome.
