Our third U14 team played their first Div 7  game against Don/Ashbourne (2nd team) in Ashbourne this morning. It was their first competitive game after lockdown which showed in the first half with the girls struggling against a strong home side. The girls played against heavy rain and a strong wind which Ashbourne took advantage of to lead by 1-14 to 0-00 at half time. The sun came out for the second half and so did our girls who put it up to the home team. A much improved performance to shake of the cobwebs which the girls can take on to the next game. In the end the match finished with Don/Ashbourne coming out on top winning 4-20 to 2-02. Well done all.
