At the heart of GFP is its founder , Lorraine Heskin. Lorraine set up Gourmet Food Parlour in 2006 with just one small restaurant in Dublin. Through her vision, passion, and hard work, the business has grown into a leading Irish hospitality brand with multiple locations and a reputation for fresh, vibrant food served with a personal touch.
What makes Lorraine’s support truly special is how personally involved she is with our club. She regularly come to games, Chats with the players, and cheers on the lads from the side-lines, celebrating every win and encouraging them through every challenge. It’s clear her commitment goes far beyond sponsorship ,she genuinely cares about the team, the players, and the Dunshaughlin community.
To show our appreciation, Lorraine was presented with a framed jersey featuring the Gourmet Food Parlour logo from Dunshaughlin and Royal Gaels, alongside our Club Chairman Pauric McGovern, Senior Team Manager Kevin Kealy, and Senior Team Captain Mathew Costello. It was a small gesture to recognise the huge impact she and GFP have had on our club.
Lorraine is not only a successful entrepreneur but also a devoted mother and a true champion of community and sport. Anyone who knows her will tell you she’s always smiling and for those who haven’t met her yet, you’ll quickly learn she’s a hugger and a real Galway girl through and through. Her warmth, positivity, and genuine care for people shine through in everything she does, whether in business, family, or community life.
Under her leadership, GFP has become a proud supporter of grassroots GAA, women in sport, and local clubs across Ireland values that mean so much to us here in Dunshaughlin.
