Our U14 girls Div 5 team played Longwood at home in our 3rd league game today & made it 3 wins in a row.The action started straight away with a goal from the throw in from Royal Gaels. Longwood answered with 2 points and a tense first quarter followed with a fast paced, running game and a
score of 2-2 to 0-3 at the first water break. The game settled down in the second quarter & the teams found their rhythm. Fitness levels were definitely a factor covering the full pitch with 13 a-side.
As always with this team, every player gave 100%, working hard individually and as a team. They displayed real determination and turnovers were a frequent feature of the second half. A great win for Royal Gaels securing us a place in the Semi-Final.
