The u12 girls made the short journey to near neighbors Ratoath for their second League game on Saturday afternoon. On a hot and sunny afternoon there were plenty of supporters to watch the two teams. Despite the hot conditions, the Royal Gaels put in a strong performance in each quarter. With good foundations set out by a solid defensive display, the forwards went about taking the chances that came their way. Backed up by tireless work by the midfield, the Royal Gaels ended up convincing winners by scoreline of 7-9 to 0-4. Thanks to Ratoath for hosting the game today. Royal Gaels look forward to an away game toCurraha in the coming weeks.
